The city of El Alto which sits on the plain above La Paz is considered the largest Aymara Indian city. A weekly Sunday wrestling event is held here, similar to the famous Lucha Libre of Mexico.
The wrestlers are indigenous Aymara and Quecha who put a traditional twist on the sport.
